Nilaveli

A near-deserted beach near Trincomalee with turquoise water, regularly cited as one of the island's most beautiful, Nilaveli is paired with Pigeon Island National Park, which offers outstanding snorkelling and diving just offshore. Even at peak season, it remains uncrowded, and proximity to Trincomalee's natural harbour, ancient temples and World War II heritage adds cultural depth.
