Knuckles Mountain Range

A UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Sri Lanka's finest trekking destinations, the Knuckles encompasses cloud forest, montane grassland, waterfalls and remote villages connected by trails ranging from accessible half-day walks to demanding multi-day expeditions. Biodiversity is exceptional, with endemic plants, birds and amphibians concentrated here.
