Udawalawe National Park Safari

Udawalawe is Sri Lanka’s finest destination for observing wild Asian elephants in their natural environment, with open grasslands and the Udawalawe Reservoir, where herds of 50 or more elephants can be encountered at the water’s edge in the early morning light. This tour departs Colombo or Negombo before dawn to arrive at the park for opening, maximising time in the golden morning hours when wildlife is most active and most visible. Includes round transfer, jeep safari with an experienced naturalist driver, park entrance fees, and lunch at a local restaurant en route; the Elephant Transit Home can be included as an optional add-on.
