Haputale

A quiet ridge-top town straddling a dramatic escarpment, Haputale offers views north across misty tea estates and south toward the distant coastline. Less visited than Ella but equally rewarding, it provides excellent highland walking, proximity to the celebrated Lipton's Seat viewpoint and easy access to Diyaluma Falls, one of Sri Lanka's most impressive highland cascades.
