Your Daily Path

Day 1 - Arrival & Negombo Welcome

Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport and ease into Sri Lanka with a transfer to Negombo. An afternoon by the beach or the pool follows, warm sun, a gentle breeze and a cold drink in hand. Let the island’s unhurried rhythm slow you down before the journey properly begins tomorrow.

Day 2 - Into Kandy's Hills

Drive inland through tropical countryside as the elevation rises and the air cools. Settle into Kandy, with a serene evening stroll along the lakeside. The city’s hills catch the last of the light as the lake fills with the reflections of colonial-era buildings and temple lights, a beautiful arrival.

Day 3 - Sacred Shrines & Garden Splendour

A guided visit to the Temple of the Tooth Relic. The sweeping Peradeniya Botanical Gardens follow, 147 acres of plant collections, giant bamboo groves and colonial-era avenues. The afternoon is for a spa treatment or artisan shopping in Kandy’s heritage craft boutiques.

Day 4 - The Defining Landmark

Transfer to Sigiriya through lush scrubland and paddy fields for the afternoon climb of Sigiriya Rock Fortress. The ancient frescoes, the ingenious water gardens and the summit panorama across the Cultural Triangle make this an unforgettable afternoon in the island’s heartland.

Day 5 - Cave Temples, Spices & Wellness

Morning at Dambulla Cave Temple. A spice garden stop in Matale follows before returning to the resort for a late-afternoon wellness treatment. As the day quiets, the Dambulla area’s forest-fringed landscape settles into a deep golden hour that rewards simply sitting and watching.

Day 6 - Highland Drive & Tea Country

The highland road from Kandy to Nanu Oya winds past waterfalls, misty mountain ridges and an unbroken carpet of tea. Stop at a working plantation and factory to see the full arc from picked leaf to brewed cup. Arrive in Nuwara Eliya for a gentle lakeside walk around Gregory Lake.

Day 7 - The Great Clifftop Vista

An early start in Horton Plains National Park leads to World’s End, a sheer cliff edge dropping nearly 900 metres into a misty valley, through rolling montane grasslands. Baker’s Falls provides a beautiful finale to the trek. Return to Nuwara Eliya for lunch before a full afternoon at leisure.

Day 8 - Scenic Train to Ella

Board the iconic train from Nanu Oya for the celebrated ride through the tea country to Ella, one of the world’s great train journeys. Visit Nine Arch Bridge and take the short but rewarding hike to Little Adam’s Peak. The Ella evening is yours, with the mountain lights and dinner.

Day 9 - Yala Safari & Coastal Arrival

A morning jeep safari through Yala National Park, the world’s best destination for wild leopard sightings. Drive west along the southern coast to Weligama in the afternoon, where a beach hotel with Indian Ocean views and the sound of waves provides a deeply welcome arrival.

Day 10 - Ocean Day at Weligama

A complete day on the southern coast, a private boat trip along the shoreline, seasonal whale watching just offshore or a long spa morning at the resort. An afternoon cooking class using local spices and coastal ingredients, or sunset cocktails on the terrace as the light over the sea turns gold.

Day 11 - A City Within Walls

A private guided tour of Galle Fort, UNESCO-listed and alive with boutiques, cafes and heritage architecture. Walk the colonial ramparts, pause at the old lighthouse and spend the afternoon browsing the fort’s independent shops, returning for a leisurely dinner overlooking the ocean.

Day 12 - Final Morning in Galle

A final relaxed morning in Galle belongs entirely to you, revisit a favourite spot inside the fort, have coffee on a cafe terrace, or simply sit on the ramparts watching the sea. Check out at leisure and settle into your last afternoon at a coastal property with rest and reflection on the journey.

Day 13 - Colombo & Departure

A private transfer to Colombo. Optional stops en route at a heritage site or a favourite coastal viewpoint allow for one last encounter. Transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport with a full heart and a collection of memories that span mountain summit to ocean horizon.
