Your Daily Path

Day 1 - Arrival at the Wilderness Edge

Land at Bandaranaike International Airport and transfer to the remote wilderness of Wilpattu. Settle into your luxury tented suite surrounded by the dry forest’s deep quiet. The evening is yours: stargazing from camp, a cold drink in hand and the anticipation of tomorrow’s first safari.

Day 2 - Leopards & Ancient Lakes

A morning jeep safari through Wilpattu’s landscape of ancient natural lakes offers encounters with leopards, sloth bears, elephants and spotted deer. The afternoon invites a guided nature walk with a naturalist. The sunset over the dry forest from camp is an image you’ll keep long after leaving.

Day 3 - Cultural Triangle Glamping

Travel from Wilpattu to the cultural heartland, arriving at a luxury glamping retreat near Sigiriya or Dambulla. The camp is pitched in nature, furnished with care – crisp linens, lantern-lit dining, attentive service. Dinner is served village-style, the jungle alive around you.

Day 4 - Cave Temples & Lion Rock Summit

Morning at Dambulla Cave Temple reveals five sculpted shrines of glowing colour, followed by the afternoon climb of Sigiriya Rock Fortress. The evening option at the Pidurangala sunset viewpoint offers a different vantage point over the same landscape in fading golden light.

Day 5 - Into the Knuckles Range

Transfer to the Knuckles Mountain Range and check into an eco-luxury tented camp with sweeping highland views. The evening campfire experience under open sky, with warm drinks and conversation. Mountains are best appreciated slowly, and tonight the Knuckles deliver that in full.

Day 6 - Cloud Forest Walks & Mountain Silence

Morning guided walks through Knuckles cloud forests. The afternoon is unhurried at the eco-lodge, where mountain silence is the activity of choice. An optional wellness session, yoga or guided meditation, settles the mind before an evening of highland stillness.

Day 7 - Kandy - Temple & Lake

Descend from the Knuckles to Kandy for a guided visit to the Temple of the Tooth Relic. The afternoon walk around Kandy Lake, with the temple’s roof visible above the tree line, is quietly beautiful. The evening is free in a city where the air still carries incense.

Day 8 - Tea Estates & Highland Retreat

The scenic morning drive to Nuwara Eliya through a working tea estate, with a guided plantation walk and tasting session. Gregory Lake offers a gentle afternoon stroll. Check into your highland retreat for an evening of fireside comfort in the cool air of Sri Lanka’s highest city.

Day 9 - Luxury in the Wilderness

Transfer south through the dry zone to Yala National Park. The camp deck overlooks open terrain where wildlife appears without invitation, birds, deer, perhaps a distant elephant crossing at dusk. Dinner is served under the stars with the park’s natural soundtrack as the only accompaniment.

Day 10 - Pre-Dawn Yala Safari

Rise in darkness for the pre-dawn jeep safari into Yala. Morning light through the acacia canopy, a leopard on a rocky outcrop, crocodiles along the waterholes and an astonishing diversity of birdlife. The afternoon at camp is for the spa, the pool, and the luxury of doing nothing well.

Day 11 - Turtle Conservation & Galle Fort

Drive to the southern coast and visit the Rekawa Turtle Conservation Project. Continue to Galle Fort for a guided heritage walk through the ramparts, colonial lanes and boutique galleries, ending with sunset drinks above the ocean walls, a perfect penultimate evening.

Day 12 - Farewell & Departure

A private transfer from Galle to Bandaranaike International Airport via the southern expressway. An optional stop at a coastal viewpoint or cafe en route provides one final moment with the sea. Depart with the satisfaction of having slept under canvas in the most extraordinary landscapes.
