Your Daily Path

Day 1 - Arrival in Luxury

Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport and transfer to Negombo. The afternoon belongs to the pool, the beach or a cold drink with your feet in the sand. No schedules, no sightseeing, just the unhurried beginning of a coastal journey designed above all for comfort and grace.

Day 2 - Dolphin Lagoon

Drive north through coastal flatlands to Kalpitiya. An exhilarating dolphin safari is the headline of the day. Optional paddleboarding or kayaking on the vast, sheltered lagoon fills the afternoon before the eco-luxury retreat delivers a quiet, starlit evening by the water.

Day 3 - Mangroves & Riverside Elegance

Travel south to Bentota and check into a riverside or beachfront luxury resort. A river safari through the Bentota mangroves introduces quiet creeks, exotic birds and a traditional fishing village. The day closes on the beach as the sun drops into the western sea in a blaze of colour.

Day 4 - Coral Reefs & Coastal Spa

Spend the day in and around Bentota’s waters, snorkelling or diving along the coral reefs. Those preferring a slower day can indulge in an extended spa session at the resort before an optional sunset coastal cruise glides along the shoreline as dusk settles over the lagoon.

Day 5 - Hikkaduwa Glass-Bottom Coves

Continue south to Hikkaduwa and board a glass-bottom boat to float over the famous coral sanctuary, watching sea turtles, rays and reef fish. Leisure time on the beach follows. Hikkaduwa’s stretch is one of the most vibrant and characterful on the southwest coast.

Day 6 - Galle Fort & Clifftop Evenings

Arrive in Galle for a private guided walking tour of the Dutch Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage. Check into a clifftop or beachfront resort near Weligama, where the evening view over the Indian Ocean from your private terrace sets the standard for the days ahead.

Day 7 - Blue Whales off Mirissa

Board a responsible whale-watching vessel from Mirissa for an encounter with the blue whale, in the warm waters off the southern coast (seasonal December to April). Return to the Weligama resort for a beach afternoon and optional spa, the morning’s encounter still vivid and extraordinary.

Day 8 - Hidden Beaches & Blowholes

Drive east along the coast to Tangalle, checking into a luxury beachfront resort. The afternoon explores the landscape surrounding Tangalle, hidden sea coves, natural rock blowholes and secluded beaches that feel genuinely private in the warm afternoon light.

Day 9 - Turtle Watching at Rekawa

A visit to Rekawa or Kalametiya Lagoon with the chance to watch nesting sea turtles emerge at night under carefully controlled conservation conditions (seasonal). The rest of the day is devoted to pure resort leisure, with nothing required but time, water and the complete absence of obligation.

Day 10 - Surf, Yoga & Village Life

An optional surfing session at a nearby break offers beginner-friendly waves and expert instruction. Alternatively, a beachside yoga practice greets the morning with grounding calm. An afternoon visit to local coastal villages offers a glimpse of everyday southern Sri Lankan life.

Day 11 - Private Island Excursion

A private boat excursion to nearby islands for snorkelling, swimming in turquoise shallows, and open-water relaxation. Nothing but water, sky and the boat gently rocking. Return to the resort for sunset cocktails; the light on the ocean at this hour is worth the entire trip alone.

Day 12 - Return to Galle

Drive to Galle offers an optional cultural stop at a heritage site or an artisan workshop before the afternoon settles into the boutique resort’s pool or terrace. Galle’s final evening is yours, explore the Fort by night, dine at a heritage restaurant or watch the fort’s lights reflect on the harbour water.

Day 13 - Colombo & Departure

A private transfer north to Colombo, with optional heritage stops en route to add one final experience. Transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport with the satisfaction that comes from having seen one of the world’s most beautiful coastlines, unhurriedly and in genuine comfort.
